At what age should I feed my horse a veteran diet?

There is no specific age for when you should start feeding a veteran diet. You should consider a veteran diet when you notice your horse can no longer maintain good body condition on their current diet. Other factors to consider are dentition (may be worth switching to a soaked or mash feed if they have dental problems) and joint health, as some veteran specific feeds have added joint supplements.
