PART TIME SALES ADVISOR

Ulverston Store

WCF Pet & Equestrian Ulverston is a retail store selling a wide variety of products aimed at  the pet, equestrian, small holder and agricultural markets. We are now seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic and hard working person to join our team at Ulverston on a part time basis.

Relevant retail experience and the ability to be flexible to cover extra hours as required are desirable. Full training will be given where appropriate. Owing to the unique nature of our business some knowledge of animals or involvement in the country way of life would be highly beneficial.

During these difficult times our store has remained open.  As key workers we are here to provide our community with essential items.  We have implemented all the safety guidelines within our store to keep our staff and customers safe.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Delivering first class customer service.
  • Accurately handling cash and using our till systems.
  • Supporting your team in the smooth running of the store and warehouse
  • Stock control and merchandising.
  • Carry to car service.

FULL TIME SUPERVISOR

Ulverston Store

For our Supervisor role  passion and personality are key. You need to be the sort of person who can deliver against KPIs in a challenging retail environment. You will demonstrate pace, commerciality, and a drive for excellent standards, with an eagerness to learn and be stretched daily. You will be experienced in supervising a retail shop floor, pushing targets and driving development in your team. A natural instinct to share and develop knowledge will put you in a great position to be the best you can be upon joining us and to top it off - we’re looking for someone who has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and is proud to be a retail leader. You will be working closely with the Manager to further develop knowledge about WCF’s business practices as well as using previous experience to help create new ways to drive the stores performance. .

Working closely with the team to improve store communication and ensure that they are all knowledgeable on business information.

Training and development of the team to enable operational excellence.

Consistent store visits with high retail standards.

Along with other supervisory duties including stock control, product merchandising and maintaining a safe working environment.
